ஒவ்வொரு அரையாண்டு முடிவிலும் அனைத்து பாடநெறிகளுக்குமான பரீட்சை யாழ்ப்பாணப் பல்கலைக்கழக வெளிவாரி பரீட்சைகள் அலகினால் நடாத்தப்படும்.
பரீட்சை நோக்கின் பொருட்டு மாணவர்கள் பல்கலைக்கழகத்திற்கோ அல்லது மாணவர் நிலையங்களாக அறிவிக்கப்படும் இடங்களுக்கோ வருகை தரவேண்டியேற்படலாம்.
இறுதி
அரையாண்டுப்பரீட்சைகளும் தொடர் மதிப்பீடும்
ஒவ்வொரு பாடநெறியும் அரையாண்டு பரீட்சிக்கப்படும். பரீட்சைக்கான நேரம்
பாடத்திற்கு பாடம் வேறுபடலாம். எனினும் வழமையாக இது மூன்று மணித்தியாலமாக
இருக்கும்.
இறுதி அரையாண்டு பரீட்சைக்கு மேலாக ஒவ்வொரு பாடநெறியும் தொடர்ச்சியாக மதிப்பீடு
செய்யப்படும். தொடர் மதிப்பீடானது நடு அரையாண்டுப்பரீட்சைகள்,
கட்டுரைப்பரீட்சைகள், பல்தெரிவு வினாக்கள், மற்றும் online மூலமான
கலந்துரையாடல்கள், கட்டுரை மதிப்பீடுகள் என்பவற்றைக் கொண்டிருக்கலாம்.
பாடநெறிகளுக்கான
இறுதிப்புள்ளிக் கணிப்பீடுகள்
இறுதி அரையாண்டுப்பரீட்சைகள் ஒரு பாடநெறிக்கு 70% மான புள்ளிகளை ஒதுக்குகிறது.
தொடர்மதிப்பீடானது ஒரு பாடநெறிக்கு 30% மான புள்ளிகளை ஒதுக்குகிறது. இது ஒன்று
அல்லது அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட நடு அரையாண்டுப்பரீட்சை, கட்டுரைப்பரீட்சைகள், பல்தேர்வு
வினாக்கள், கட்டுரை மதிப்பீடுகள் போன்ற தொடர் மதிப்பீட்டின் மூலம் பெறப்பட்டதாக
இருக்கலாம்.
பாடநெறியைப்
பூர்த்தி செய்தல் அல்லது பூர்த்தி செய்ய முடியாது போதல்:
ஒரு மாணவன் முழுப் பாடங்களிலும் சராசரியாக (இறுதி அரையாண்டுப்பரீட்சையும், தொடர்
மதிப்பீடும் கொண்ட புள்ளிகளின் நிறையளிக்கப்பட்ட சராசரிபுள்ளியில் )
45புள்ளிகள் அல்லது அதற்கு மேல் அப்பாட நெறியில் பெற்றிருப்பின் சித்தியடைய
முடியும்.
பரீட்சை ஒழுங்குவிதி:
பரீட்சையும் அதனை நிறைவு செய்வதற்கான நிபந்தனையும்
- பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட மாணவர்களுக்கான பரீட்சை ஒவ்வொரு அரையாண்டு இறுதியிலும் நடைபெறும். மாணவர்கள் குறிப்பிட்ட பரீட்சைகளுக்கு கிடைக்கக்கூடிய முதல் சந்தரப்பத்திலேயே தோற்ற வேண்டுமெனக் கேட்கப்படுவர். இவ்வாறு தோற்ற முடியாதவர்கள் மூதவையினால் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளக்கூடிய காரணங்களை சமரப்பித்தல் வேண்டும்.
- ஒவ்வொரு பாடநெறிக்குமான பரீட்சையிலிருந்து ஆகக்கூடியது 100மூ புள்ளிகளைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியும்.
- ஒவ்வொரு பாடநெறிக்குமான சித்திப்;புள்ளி 45% ஆகும்.
ஒவ்வொரு அரையாண்டு இறுதிப்பரீட்சையையும் பூர்த்தி செய்வதற்கான நிபந்தனைகள்:
வியாபார முகாமைத்துவமாணி (1ம் வருடமும், 2ம் வருடமும்)
ஒரு மாணவன் எந்த ஒரு அரையாண்டுப்பரீட்சையிலும் ஆகக்குறைந்தது 2.00 இற்குக் குறையாத GPA யைப் பெற்றிருப்பின் அவர் சித்தியடைய முடியும். அத்துடன் ஒவ்வொரு அரையாண்டிலும் ஒன்றிற்கு மேற்படாத D+ அல்லது D வகுப்புக்களைக் கொண்டிருப்பதுடன், சித்தியின்மை வகுப்புக்களைக் (F) கொண்டிருக்கக்கூடாது. அத்துடன் வியாபார ஆங்கிலத்தில் சித்தி பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
ஒரு மாணவன் வியாபார ஆங்கில அலகில் சித்தி பெறத்தவறின் அவர் அப்பாடநெறியை சித்தியடையும் வரை பெறுபேறுகள் தடுத்து வைக்கப்படும்.
மூன்றாம் வருடம்
ஒரு மாணவன் எந்த ஒரு அரையாண்டுப்பரீட்சையிலும் ஆகக்குறைந்தது 2.00 இற்குக் குறையாத GPA யைப் பெற்றிருப்பின் அவர் சித்தியடைய முடியும். அத்துடன் ஒவ்வொரு அரையாண்டிலும் ஒன்றிற்கு மேற்படாத D+ அல்லது D வகுப்புக்களைக் கொண்டிருப்பதுடன், சித்தியின்மை வகுப்புக்களைக் (F) கொண்டிருக்கக்கூடாது.
வியாபார மாணியில் சான்றிதழ் பட்டத்தினைப் பெறுவதற்கான நிபந்தனை
ஒரு மாணவன் முதலாம் வருடம் இரண்டு அரையாண்டுப்பரீட்சைகளிலும் சித்தியடைந்து மேற்குறிப்பிட்டவாறு ஆகக்குறைந்தது 2.00 இற்குக் குறையாத GPA யைப் பெற்றிருப்பதுடன், இரண்டு அரையாண்டுகளிலும் ஒன்றிற்கு மேற்படாத D+ அல்லது D வகுப்புக்களைக் கொண்டிருப்பதுடன், சித்தியின்மை வகுப்புக்களைக் (F) கொண்டிராது வியாபார ஆங்கிலத்தில் சித்தியுடன் 32 கிறெடிற் பெறுமதியைப் பூர்த்தி செய்து கொண்ட நிலையில் வியாபார சான்றிதழ் பட்டத்தினைப்பெறுவதற்கான தகுதியைப் பெறமுடியும்.
வியாபார மாணியில் டிப்ளோமா பட்டத்தினைப் பெறுவதற்கான நிபந்தனை
ஒரு மாணவன் முதல் இரண்டு வருடங்களிலும், நான்கு அரையாண்டுப்பரீட்சைகளிலும் சித்தியடைந்து மேற்குறிப்பிட்டவாறு ஆகக்குறைந்தது 2.00 இற்குக் குறையாத GPA யைப் பெற்றிருப்பதுடன், நான்கு அரையாண்டுகளிலும் ஒன்றிற்கு மேற்படாத D+ அல்லது D வகுப்புக்களைக் கொண்டிருப்பதுடன், சித்தியின்மை வகுப்புக்களைக் (F) கொண்டிராது வியாபார ஆங்கிலத்தில் இரு வருடங்களிலுமான சித்தியுடன் 64 கிறெடிற் பெறுமதியைப் பூர்த்தி செய்து கொண்ட நிலையில் வியாபார டிப்ளோமா பட்டத்தினைப்பெறுவதற்கான தகுதியைப் பெறமுடியும்.
விசேட சித்தி / அதிவிசேட சித்தி
அதிவிசேட சித்தி
ஒரு மாணவன் பின்வரும் தேவைப்பாடுகளைப் பூர்த்தி; செய்த நிலையில் அவர் வியாபாரமாணி டிப்ளோமாவில் அதிவிசேடசித்தியினைப் பெறத்தகுதியுடையவராவார்.
ஒரு மாணவன் முழு டிப்ளோமா
பயிற்சி நெறியிலும் GPA 3.33 அல்லது அதற்கு மேல் பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
அம்மாணவன் டிப்ளோமா நெறியில் ஆகக்குறைந்தது அரைப்பகுதிப் பாடங்களுக்காவது A+
அல்லது A வகுப்புச்சித்திகளைப் பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
அம்மாணவன் C வகுப்பிற்குக் குறைந்த சித்திகளைப் பெற்றிருத்தல் கூடாது.
அம்மாணவன் சிபார்சு செய்யப்பட்டு அனுமதிக்கப்பட்ட காரணங்களுக்காகவன்றி

ஒரு மாணவன் பின்வரும் தேவைப்பாடுகளைப் பூர்த்தி; செய்த நிலையில் அவர்
வியாபாரமாணி டிப்ளோமாவில் விசேடசித்தியினைப் பெறத்தகுதியுடையவராவார்.
ஒரு மாணவர் முழு டிப்ளோமா நெறியிலும் GPA 3.00 அல்லது அதற்கு மேல் பெற்றிருத்தல்
வேண்டும்.
அம்மாணவன் B வகுப்புச் சித்திகளைப் பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும். அல்லது டிப்ளோமா
நெறியில் ஆகக்குறைந்தது அரைப்பகுதிப் பாடங்களுக்காவது B வகுப்புச் சித்திகளைப்
பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
அம்மாணவன் முழு டிப்ளோமா பயிற்சி நெறியிலும் இரண்டுக்கு மேற்பட்ட குறைவான
சித்திகளைப் (D+ அல்லது D) பெற்றிருக்கக் கூடாது.

ஒரு மாணவன் மூன்று வருடங்களிலும் எல்லா அரையாண்டுப் பரீட்சைகளிலும் சித்தியடைந்து வியாபாரமாணிப் பட்டத்தினைப் பெறுவதற்குத் தேவையான நிபந்தனைகளைப் பூர்த்தி செய்திருப்பின் வியாபாரமாணிப் பட்டத்தினைப் பெறமுடியும்.
வகுப்புகளுடனான சித்தி: Award of Class
முதலாம் வகுப்பில்
சித்தி: First Class standing
ஒரு மாணவன்; வியாபாரமாணிப் பட்டத்தில் முதலாம் வகுப்பில் சித்தியடைவதற்கு
பின்வரும் நிபந்தனைகளைப் பூர்த்தி செய்திருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
அம் மாணவன் முழு பட்டப்படிப்புக் கற்கைநெறியிலும் GPA 3.33 அல்லது அதற்கு மேல்
பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
அம்மாணவன் பட்டப்படிப்பு நெறியில் ஆகக்குறைந்தது அரைப்பகுதிப் பாடங்களுக்காவது
A+ அல்லது A வகுப்புச்சித்திகளைப் பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
அம்மாணவன் C வகுப்பிற்குக் குறைந்த சித்திகளைப் பெற்றிருத்தல் கூடாது.

சித்தியடைவதற்கு பின்வரும் நிபந்தனைகளைப் பூர்த்தி செய்திருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
அம் மாணவன் முழு பட்டப்படிப்புக் கற்கைநெறியிலும் GPA 3.00 அல்லது அதற்கு மேல்
பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
அம்மாணவன் B வகுப்புச் சித்திகளைப் பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும். அல்லது
பட்டப்படிப்பு கற்கை நெறியில் ஆகக்குறைந்தது அரைப்பகுதிப் பாடங்களுக்காவது B
வகுப்புச் சித்திகளைப் பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும்.

அம் மாணவன் முழு பட்டப்படிப்புக் கற்கைநெறியிலும் GPA 2.67 அல்லது அதற்கு மேல்
பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
அம்மாணவன் B வகுப்புச் சித்திகளைப் பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும். அல்லது
பட்டப்படிப்பு கற்கை நெறியில் ஆகக்குறைந்தது அரைப்பகுதிப் பாடங்களுக்காவது B

மீள் பரீட்சை
ஒரு மாணவன் ஒரு அரையாண்டுப்பரீட்சையில் சித்தியடையத் தவறின் தொடர்ந்து வரும்
அரையாண்டுப்பரீட்சையில் அவர் சித்தியடையத் தவறிய பாடத்தில் மட்டும் மீள பரீட்சை
எடுப்பதற்கான சந்தர்ப்பம் அளிக்கப்படும்.
இவ் மீள் பரீட்சையில் பெறப்பட்ட புள்ளிகள் ஏற்கனவே சித்தியடைந்த பாட அலகுகளுடன் சேர்த்து பெறுபேறு கணிப்பிடப்படும்.
மீள் பரீட்சையின் சித்திப்புள்ளி 45% மாக இருக்கும்.
- ஒரு மாணவன் ஒரு அரையாண்டில் மீள எடுக்கும் பரீட்சையில் அப்பாடத்தி;ற்கு / பாடங்களிற்கு 45 புள்ளிகளுக்கு ( C தர வகுப்பில்) மேல் பெறுவதற்கு தகுதியற்றவராக இருப்பார். மீள்பரீட்சையில் எடுக்கக்கூடிய ஆகக்கூடிய வகுப்பு C யாகும்.
- தொடர் மதிப்பீட்டை எவரும் மீள எடுக்க முடியாது. தொடர் மதிப்பீட்டில் முன்னர் பெற்ற புள்ளி மீள் பரீட்சைப் பாடத்தின் இறுதிப்புள்ளிகளைக் கணிப்பிட கவனத்தில் கொள்ளப்படும்.
Examination:
End Semester Examinations and
continuous assessment
Each course requires a final examination at the end of each
semester. End semester examination will be held during the final examination
period. The duration of the examination can vary depending on the
requirements for each subject. Normally, they are of three-hour duration.
In addition, each course shall carry a continuous assessment component. The
method of continuous assessment may include mid-semester examinations /
tests / quizzes / presentation.
Guidelines for the calculation of final marks
for the courses
End Semester examination carries a weight 70% of the final
marks assigned to a course.
Continuous assessment component carries a weight of 30% of the final mark
assigned to a course. This may comprise marks from one or more of the
continuous assessment modes such as mid semester examinations /
tests/quizzes/presentation.
Passing or Failing course
A candidate shall be deemed to have passed in a course if he/she obtains an
overall average (weighted average marks of continuous assessment and
end-semester examination) of 45 or above for that course.
Examination Regulation
Examination and conditions for Pass
- Examination for registered students will be conducted at the end of each semester . Students will be required to sit the prescribed examinations at the earliest opportunity, unless prevented from doing so for reasons acceptable to the Senate.
- The examination in each course unit, will carry a maximum mark of 100%.
- Pass mark for each course unit shall be 45%.
- Conditions for pass in each Semester of the Examination
Bachelor Business Management.(First Year and Second Year)
- Passes in all course units of
the respective semester
or - Passes in three course units, with not less than 30% in the fourth and an overall average of 45%.
And
Pass in Business English.
If a candidate fails the Business English unit
the results shall be withheld until he /she passes the Business English
Unit.
Third Year
- Passes in all course units
or - Passes in three course units with not less than 30% in the fourth Unit and an overall average of 45%
Condition for award of Certificate in Business Management
A candidate who has passed both semester examinations in the first year shall be deemed to have satisfied the necessary conditions for the award of Certificatein Business Management.
Condition for award of diploma in Business Management
A candidate who has passed all relevant semester examinations
in the first two years shall be deemed to have satisfied the necessary
conditions for the award of diploma in Business Management.

Award of Merit /Distinction
Distinctiom:
A student shall meet the following requirements in order to be awarded a
diploma with Distinction:
ii. The student shall have earned grades of “A” in at least
half of the course units
offered in the first two years of the programme.
Merit:
A student shall meet the following requirements in order to be awarded a
diploma with Merit
i. The student shall have earned an overall average of 65% in the first
two years of
the programme.
ii. The student shall have earned grades of “A” and “B” in at least half
of the course units
offered in the first two years of the programme.

Condition for award of degree
A candidate who has passed all relevant semesters of the examinations in all three years shall be deemed to have satisfied the necessary conditions for the award of degree.
Award of Class
First Class
A student shall meet all the following requirements in order to be awarded a
degree with First Class
- The student shall have earned an overall average of 70% in the entire degree program.
- The student shall have earned grades of “A” in at least half of the course units offered in the entire degree program.
Second Class (Upper Division):
A student shall meet all the following requirements in order to be awarded a
degree with Second Class (Upper Division.:
- The student shall have earned an overall average of 65% in the entire degree program.
- The student shall have earned grades of “A”and"B”in at least half of the course units offered in the entire degree program.
Second Class (Lower Division)
A student shall meet all the following requirements in order to be awarded a
degree with a Second Class (Lower Division)
- The student shall have earned an overall average of 60% in the entire degree program.
- The student shall have earned grades of “A”and "B”in at least half of the course units offered in the entire degree program.
(Business English marks will not be taken into account in deciding the award of class)
Repeat Examination
- A candidate who fails a semester examination shall be required to resist and complete only the failed course unit at the subsequent semester examination.
- Marks scored in the repeat examination shall be taken together with the course units already passed in computing the result.
- The pass mark in a repeat examination shall be 45%.
- A candidate who repeats course/s of a semester shall not be eligible to obtain more than 45 minimum mark (given for a “C” grade) for each of the course/s, which he/she has repeated irrespective of the actual marks obtained. The maximum grade given for a repeat course is C.
- No candidate shall repeat the continuous assessment. The Original marks of the continuous assessment will be taken in computing the final marks of a repeat course unit.
- A candidate who fails an examination will be allowed not more than three attempts, after the first one, to complete the examination, unless permission is granted by the Senate.
