கற்கைநெறித் திட்டம்:

தெரிவு செய்யப்படும் மாணவர்கள் தமது பதிவினை மேற்கொண்டதன் பின்னர் முதலில் அறிமுக நிகழ்வும் அதனைத்தொடர்ந்து கணினியில் பாடநெறிகளைக் கையாள்வது தொடர்பான Moodle Learning Management  System பயிற்சிப்பட்டறையும் இடம்பெறும்.  கற்கை நெறி வருடாந்தம் இரண்டு அரையாண்டுகளைக் கொண்ட மூன்று ஆண்டுகளைக் கொண்டது. ஓவ்வொரு அரையாண்டும் ஐந்து பாடங்கள் வீதம் மொத்தம் 30 பாடங்களைக் கொண்டது.  முதல் இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளும் நான்கு அரையாண்டுகளுக்கும் ஆங்கிலம் ஒரு பாடமாகக் கொள்ளப்படும்.  எனினும் இது கிறெடிற் பெறுமதியற்ற பாடமாகும்.  ஏனைய பாடங்களில் முதலாம், இரண்டாம் ஆண்டுகளில் ஒரு பாடத்திற்கு நான்கு கிறெடிற் பெறுமதி வீதம் ஒரு அரையாண்டில் பதினாறு கிறெடிற் பெறுமதி அடிப்படையில்  இரு ஆண்டுகளில் 64 கிறெடிற் பெறுமதியும், இறுதி ஆண்டில் மொத்தம் எட்டு பாடங்களிற்கும் 32 கிறெடிற் பெறுமதியுமாக 96 கிறெடிற் பெறுமதியைக் கொண்ட கற்கைநெறியாகும்.  கற்கைநெறியின் ஒரு பாடமானது (Subject/Course) 20 வாரங்களாகப் பிரிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும்.   ஓவ்வொரு வாரத்திற்குமான அலகுகள் இணையத்தில் Moodle Learning Management System மூலமாக  வெளியிடப்படும்.  இணையத்தின் மூலம் இவற்றைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியும். வாராவாரம் மாணவர்கள் தமது கற்கைநெறியைத் தாமாகவே சுயமாகக் கற்க முடியும்.  சந்தேகங்கள் ஏற்படின் குறி;ப்பிடப்பட்ட பாடநெறிகளுக்கான  விரிவுரையாளர்களுடனோ அல்லது போதானாசிரியர்களுடனோ (Tutors /Mentors) தொலைபேசி வாயிலாகத் தொடர்புகொள்வதன் மூலமும், மின்னஞ்சல் வாயிலாகவும், மற்றும் Moodle Learning Management System இல் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்படும் செயற்பாடுகளின்  மூலமும் தீர்த்துக்கொள்ள முடியும். 

இலங்கையில் உயர் கல்வி அமைச்சின் தேசிய இணைய வழி தொலைதூரக் கல்விச் சேவையின் தொலைதூரக் கல்வி நவீனமயமாக்கல் திட்டம் (Distance Education Modernization Project ( DEMP) of National Online Distance Education Service (NODES) ஆசிய அபிவிருத்தி வங்கியின் உதவியுடன் யாழ்ப்பாணப் பல்கலைக்கழக வெளிவாரி அலகில் முதன் முதலில் தமிழ் மொழி மூலமான இணையவழி வியாபார முகாமைத்துவ கற்கைநெறியை வழங்கி வருகின்றது.

மாணவர் நிலையத்தினூடாக காலப்போக்கில் மாணவர்கள் இவ் இணைய வசதியைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வதற்கான வசதிகள் காணப்படலாம். யாழ்ப்பாணத்திற்கு வெளியே இருக்கும் பிற பிரதேச மாணவர்கள் அப்பகுதியில் செயற்படும் Nodes Access Centers ஊடாக இவ்வசதியைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியும்.  காலத்திற்குக்காலம் சுய மதிப்பீட்டு ஒப்படைகள் அல்லது பரீட்சைகள் இடம்பெறலாம்.  இவை மாணவர்களால் நேரடியாகவோ அல்லது குறிப்பிடப்படும்  Moodle Learning Management System முறைமையினூடாகவோ அனுப்பி வைக்கப்படலாம்.  அவை திருத்தப்பட்டு அம்மாணவருக்கு பின்னூட்டிக் குறிப்புக்களுடன் அனுப்பி வைக்கப்படும்.   இதில் முக்கிய விடயம் யாதெனில், குறிப்பிட்ட திகதிக்குள் இவை சமர்ப்பிக்கப்பட்டிருத்தல் வேண்டும். மொத்தப்புள்ளியில் இவற்றுக்கான புள்ளி 30மூமாகும்.  மிகுதி 70 மூமான புள்ளியை மாணவர் அரையாண்டு தோறும் இடம்பெறும்   இறுதிப் பரீட்சை மூலம் பெற்றுக்கொள்வர்.  மாணவர்கள் ஓரளவு கணினி அறிவினைப் பெற்றிருத்தல் சிறந்தது.  தெரிவு செய்யப்படும் மாணவர்கள் அனைவரும் மின்னஞ்சல் முகவரியைப் பேணிக் கொள்ள வேண்டும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுவர். 

இக் கற்கை நெறிக்கான காலம் மூன்று வருடங்கள் ஆகும்.  இதனை மாணவர்கள் ஆகக்குறைந்தது 7 வருடங்களிற்குள் பூர்த்தி செய்தல் வேண்டும்.

The main objectives of this programme are:
 

1. To provide opportunities to prospective learners who are not fortunate enough to gain university admissions,
2. To provide business management education which is a fast developing field today, to the students irrespective of the stream they followed..
3. To provide opportunities for studying at their own space and availability of time.
4. To provide general proficiency in the application of information technology

  The details of the course:
            The course is designed to be self financing.

Structure of the Course:
The Course is structured in a flexible manner so as to suit the conveniences and requirements of the students.
If the student is unable to continue further or wishes to suspend the studies for some time;
i.  on successful completion of the first year he/she is eligible for the award of 
              Certificate in Business Management

ii.  on successful completion of the first two years he/she is eligible for the award of 
                Diploma in Business Management

If and when such student requests to continue the studies he/she could be allowed to do so on the approval of the Senate.

Course content

This degree programme will consist of twenty four course units with four units for each semester..
In addition there will be an Unit in English under the name of Business English conducted for the first two years (ie.four semesters)

The medium of instruction shall be Tamil

Duration:
The duration of the course is three academic years, with two semesters per academic year. Each semester will have duration of a minimum of 20 weeks. The course is being conducted on online basis. It is planned to issue Compact Disc (CD) with lesson for every course units. For each paper there will be in course assessment and an end semester examination. The results will be released semester wise.
