Sir Pon Ramanathan & Lady Leelawathy Ramanathan Memorial Lectures

Sir Leelawathy RamanathanPon Ramanathan & Lady Leelawathy Ramanathan Memorial Lectures will be conducted at Ramanathan 3.00 PM onwards on 21 & 22 January respectively at the Kailasapathy Auditorium.

Sir Pon Ramanathan memorial lecture will be delivered by Prof. Jegath Weerasinghe, Director of the Institute of Archaeology, University of Kelaniya, on the  title “Conserving Buddhist Stupas and Religious Nationalism in Sri Lanka”.

Lady Leelawathy Ramanathan memorial lecture will be delivered by Dr.(Mrs.) A. Sathiyaseelan, Head of the Department of Education, University of Jaffna, on the title ” வட இலங்கையில் யுத்தத்திற்குப் பின்னரான சூழமைவினுள் மனிதநேய விழுமியப் பேணலும் கல்வியின் பங்களிப்பும்”.
