Applications will be received by me up to 29 th June 2012 from suitably qualified candidates for the following post;

 

POST - TECHNICAL OFFICER GRADE.II SEG.A

(Vacancies exist at the Department of Physics and Computer Unit)

Qualifications:

National Diploma in Technology in the relevant field of specialization or its equivalent qualifications

Salary Scale : U-MT1(II) Rs.18,360-7x185;9x245-21,860 p.m

Selection : By Practical Test and Interview

Age Limit : Not more than 45 years

(*Note - Age limit is not applicable for applicants in the Government

Departments/ State Corporation and statutory bodies.)

Application forms may be obtained from the office of the Senior Assistant Registrar/ Establishments Branch (Non Academic Section), University of Jaffna, Thirunelvely, Jaffna, either in person or by post on a payment of Rs.100/= per application form.

Those who wish to obtain application forms by post are requested to send a Money Order / Postal Order drawn in favour of " Bursar, University of Jaffna, Thirunelvely, Jaffna" together with a self- addressed Rs.5.00 stamped envelope of 23x10 c.m in size.

Application forms and other details will also be available in the University website www.jfn.ac.lk . Those who wish to send the application forms downloaded from the University website should attach a Money Order/ Postal Order for Rs.100/- to the applications forms drawn in favor of the Bursar, University of Jaffna.

Duly completed application form should be sent under registered cover to reach the Senior Assistant Registrar/ Establishments Branch (Non Academic Section), University of Jaffna, Thirunelvely, Jaffna on or before 29.06.2012.

Applications sent on the specified form only will be accepted. Applications received after the closing date or illegible and incomplete applications will be rejected without intimation.

Those who are in Public Service/ Corporations / Statutory Bodies should forward their applications through their respective Heads of Departments/Corporations/Boards.

Advance copies of applications may be sent in the first instance. However, no such applicant will be considered for the appointment if the applications routed through the Head of Department is not received.
