FACULTY OF AGRICULCURE

ADMISSION OF PUBLIC OFFICERS

FOR DEGREE PROGRAMME IN B.Sc AGRICULTURE (2017/2018)

Applications will be entertained by the Dean, Faculty of Agriculture University of Jaffna for the Admission of Public Officers for Degree Program to follow B.Sc (Agriculture) as internal students for the Academic Year 2017/2018

  • The applicant should have passed the A/L Examination in Biological Science and qualified to enter the University.

OR

  • Any other qualification, as may be approved by the Faculty Board and the Senate.

AND

  • Diploma in Agriculture (Course duration not less then 2 years) obtained from any recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a capacity of not less than middle level Technical Officer Grade in the field of Agriculture after obtaining Diploma Course.

Age: candidate should be less than 45 years of age at the time of closing date of applications.

Application forms may be obtained from the Assistant Registrar, Admissions Branch, University of Jaffna, on a payment of Rs.100/- each at the Shroff Counter or People’s Bank, University of Jaffna.

Request for application by post should be accompanied by postal order or money order for Rs.100/- drawn in favour of the Bursar, Envelope (for Rs. 5.00) not less than 9”x 4” size.

Date of closing is 30th of November 2018.

Applications should be forwarded through the relevant Heads of Department. If not those applications will be rejected.

Selected candidates will be called to sit for a Written Test and an Oral Examination.

No application will be entertained after the closing date of application.
