Active Citizens Going Global Partnerships UNICYCLE – 2022

Applications are invited from motivated students from the faculties of Arts, Agriculture, Science, and Technology to be part of a wider network including Uva Wellassa University, General Sir John Kotelawala University and Glasgow Caledonian University (UK).

What is Going Global Partnerships?

Going Global Partnerships builds stronger, more inclusive, internationally connected higher education and TVET systems which support economic and social growth.

What do we do at the University of Jaffna through GGP?

The current programme is part of the grant obtained by the University of Jaffna to train 50 students in the Active citizen journey and connect them with their peers from the above-mentioned universities to engage in community-based projects.

When is the training programme?

The training programme will be held from 4th March to 7th March 2022 in Jaffna as a full-day program from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

How do students register?

All interested students are expected to fill out the online application form and upload their portfolios at the same link.

Application processing

The applicants will be shortlisted and may be invited to an interview on February 26th and 27th, 2022. Please fill out the form with a valid email address and phone number.

What are the important dates?

  • The deadline for application is 16th February 2022.
  • Shortlisted applications will be notified by the 23rd of February 2022
