Jaffna Medical Faculty students placed 4th in the Malaysian Physiology Quiz

Prof A.Raman challenge 16^th Inter Medical School Physiology Quiz (IMSPQ) was held on 15^th and 16^th of August 2018, at university of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malasiya.

Three Students from 38^th batch, Mr. Thanabalasingam Gohulan, Mr. Kathirgamanathan Sithamparapanan and Mr. Velmurugu Keerththanan represented the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna.

Being selected in the written exam (MCQ) and enrolled the oral quiz with 48 best teams, they progressed up to the semi finals, where the top 6 teams competed.  Our students achieved the 4^th place out of all 104 Medical schools around the globe.

Chulangkkhorn University of Thailand got 1^st place, 2^nd place was jointly shared by University of Sydney Australia and Fourth Military Medical University of China and the 3^rd place was won by All India institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi India.

The Faculty of Medicine highly appreciated Dr.K.Sivapalan, Former Head, Dept. of Physiology, Department staff,  Dr.S.Raviraj , the Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Dr.(Mrs).M.G.Sathiadas, Senior treasurer, MSU, and Senior Students for their support and guidance.
