36^th General Convocation (Part I) -2022

PROFESSOR ALAGAIAH THURAIRAJAH GOLD MEDAL

Applications are invited for the award of Professor Alagaiah Thurairajah Gold Medal from eligible students those who have graduated in the Academic year 2018/2019, obtaining first class or second class (Upper Division) and will be conferred Bachelor Degree at the forthcoming 36^th Annual Convocation.

Eligibility

Students those who have completed their degree programmes in the above academic year from the Faculty of Applied Science and the Faculty of Business Studies of the former Vavuniya Campus of the University of Jaffna are also eligible to submit their applications for the above award of Gold Medal.

Applications may be obtained from one of the following:

Assistant Registrar, Academic Affairs and Publication Branch, University of Jaffna.

One Gold Medal for all round best performance at University Level
Gold medal for all round best performance at each Faculty level.

Submission of Application Forms

Applications duly perfected with other supporting documents should be posted under registered cover to “Assistant Registrar, Academic Affairs and Publication Branch, University of Jaffna”, on or before 15^th of September 2022 by mentioning “Application for Professor Alagaiah Thurairajah Gold Medal”, on the left hand corner of the envelope.

Closing Date : 15.09.2022 (Thursday)

Note:

Those who have already submitted their applications in the 35^th General Convocation (Part II) held on 3^rd, 4^th & 5^th of March 2022 need not apply again.
Late, illegible, and/or incomplete applications will not be considered.
