35th GENERAL CONVOCATION 

35th General Convocation of the University of Jaffna will be held on 24th and 25th February 2021 for the conferment of Postgraduate Degrees, Degrees and Diplomas. Those who have passed the following examinations and are eligible to be conferred a degree at the above 35th convocation are kindly requested to supplicate on or before 29th January 2021.

Note: The graduands those who opt to get their degree In- Absentia need not pay their Gown hire fee and Photo fee.

Method of Payment

Payments should be made at any branch of the Peoples’ Bank in favour of the University of Jaffna collection account. Please write your Name and Student Registration Number in the Bank slip indicating appropriate reference number given bellow.

Please write one of the above reference number in the deposit slip as reference number according to your degree type and according to whether   you receive the degree award attending in person or in absentia. Please note that Bank will not accept any deposit without Reference Number as above.

Gowns and Guest Tickets

Graduands who supplicate to receive degree ‘In Person’ will be issued a gown and a Guest Ticket for the Convocation at the Academic Branch, University of Jaffna.

Dues to the University

Certificates will not be issued to those who fail to discharge any liabilities or dues to the University.

Submission of Supplication Forms

Supplication Forms duly perfected with payment receipt and the form for declaration of name to be appeared in degree certificate duly perfected should  be posted under registered cover to either of the following addresses as relevant to the degree on or before 29.01.2021 by mentioning “Supplication for 35th Annual General Convocation” at the left hand corner of the envelop.
