Post of Temporary Assistant Lecturer

Walk in Interview for the appointment of Temporary Assistant Lecturer in English Literature will be held on 07.02.2025 (Friday) at 2.00 pm in the Mini Board Room of the Faculty of Arts, University of Jaffna.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  1. A Honours Degree in the relevant subject with First or Second Class Upper Division.
    OR
  1. A Honours Degree in the relevant subject with Second Class Lower Division.
    OR
  1. (a) A Honours Degree in the relevant subject with Pass or any other degree with which includes the relevant subject as one of the subjects in the Degree programme and obtained at least Second Class
    and
    (b) A Recognized Postgraduate Degree in the relevant subject.

Salary and other benefits

Post Salary Scale
Temporary Assistant Lecturer Rs. 49,860/- p.m (fixed)

In additions to the above salary, the allowances approved by University Grant Commission applicable to the post will be paid.

Interested candidates with the required qualifications are expected to be present for the interview for the above mentioned post with educational and any other relevant certificates (originals) along with certified copies, National Identity Card and duly filled  prescribed application form downloaded from the University of Jaffna website with the paid Bank Slip for the deposit of a sum of Rs.100/- credited to the Peoples Bank in favor of University of Jaffna Collection Account No: 970000090000387 of Bursar, University of Jaffna.
