Posts of Temporary Assistant Lecturers and Temporary Demonstrators

Walk in Interview for appointments to the posts of Temporary Assistant Lecturers and Temporary Demonstrators will be held in the Mini Board Room of the Faculty of Arts, University of Jaffna in following manner.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• A Honours Degree in the relevant subject with First or Second Class Upper Division.
  OR
• A Honours Degree in the relevant subject with Second Class Lower Division.
  OR
• (a) A Honours Degree in the relevant subject with Pass or any other degree with which includes the relevant subject as one of the subjects in the Degree Programme and obtained at least Second Class
  AND
  (b) A Recognized Postgraduate Degree in the relevant subject.

Note: – candidates who are awaiting results of the final degree examination may also be permitted to appear for the above interview.

Salary and other benefits

In additions to the above salary, the allowances approved by University Grant Commission applicable to the post will be paid.
