Walk-in Interview

Walk in interview for the appointments to the following temporary positions will be held on 25^th and 26^th November 2025 from 09.00 am in the Board Room of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna Ariviyalnagar, Kili nochchi.

Temporary Assistant Lecturer / Temporary Demonstrator in Agronomy/ Animal Science/Agricultural Biology/Agricultural Chemistry/Agricultural Engineering/ Agricultural Economics.

Qualification: 

1. A Degree with Specialization in the relevant subject with First or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours;
   OR

2. A Degree with Specialization in the relevant subject with Second Class (Lower Division) Honours;
   OR

3. (a) A Degree with Specialization in the relevant subject without Honours or any other degree with at least Second Class Honours and (b) a recognized postgraduate degree in the relevant subject.

Note: Candidates who are awaiting the results of the final degree examinations may also apply for the post of Temporary Demonstrator only.

In addition to the above salary, the allowances approved by University Grants Commission will also be paid.

Interested candidates with the required qualifications should fill the online form before 4.00 pm on 21.11.2025 and present for the walk-in interview for the above-mentioned posts with educational and any other relevant certificates (originals) along with certified copies, National Identity Card and duly filled application (Application Form)

Walk-in-interview for the following temporary positions will be held as follows;

• TAL – Temporary Assistant Lecturer
• TD – Temporary Demonstrator
