University of Jaffna Welcomes the New Year 2025!

The University of Jaffna ceremonially commenced duties for the New Year on 1st January 2025 with a vibrant event at the university premises. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Professor S. Srisatkunarajah, along with the Registrar, Bursar, Deans, Directors, Administrative Officers, and Staff of the university.

The event began with the hoisting of the National and University flags by the Vice Chancellor and Registrar, accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem. This was followed by the reading of the public servants’ oath, led by the Registrar, as a reaffirmation of commitment to excellence and service.
