- Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding
- To be eligible for contract award, the successful bidder shall not have been blacklisted and shall be registered in the field of Building Construction with the Institute for Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA) as indicated in the above table.
- Interested bidders may obtain further information from Deputy Registrar, Capital Works & Planning Branch, University of Jaffna, Thirunelvely, Jaffna and view the bidding documents at the same address on any working day from 9:00hrs to 16:00

- A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the Deputy Registrar, Capital Works & Planning Branch, University of Jaffna, Thirunelvely, Jaffna from 11th December 2024 until 02nd January 2025 from 9:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs and upon payment of a non-refundable fee detail given above table to be deposited to the Peoples Bank, University of Jaffna branch with the Reference No “970000060000276” should be filled in the Account Number column in the Deposit Slip.
- Sealed Bids shall be delivered or sent by registered post to the Deputy Registrar, Capital Works & Planning Branch, University of Jaffna,O Box 57, Thirunelvely, Jaffna or be deposited in the tender box kept in the Capital Works & Planning Branch, to reach on or before 10.00 hrs on the 03rd January, 2025. Bids will be opened soon after closing, at 10.00 hrs on the 03rd January, 2025 at the same venue in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.
- Bids shall be valid at least for a period of 90 Days for Bid No. 01 and 63 Days for Bid No. 02, 03 & 04 from the date fixed for receiving of Bids or any extended date.
- All Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security which shall be;
- In the form included in the Section 09 in the Bidding document.
- In favour of “Vice Chancellor, University of Jaffna.”
- For the amount indicated in the above table against each work.
- Issued by one of the agencies indicated in the clause 16.0 of the Schedule.
Pre bid meeting will be held at the Board Room, University of Jaffna, Thirunelvely at 10.00 hrs on the 23rd December, 2024.
