Post of Scientific Assistant Grade I & II (Temporary)

Interviews scheduled on 16 August 2024 for the Scientific Assistant at the Faculty of Science is postponed to 02 September 2024 due to unavoidable circumstances.

Scientific Assistant Grade I (Temporary)

• A First or Second Class (Upper Division) in a Special Degree Examination in the relevant subject with 03 years’ experience after obtaining such degree qualifications.*
  OR
• A Second Class (Lower Division) in a Special Degree Examination in the relevant subject with approved Postgraduate/ Professional qualifications.*
  OR

Scientific Assistant Grade II (Temporary) **

•  A First or Second Class (Upper Division) in a Special Degree Examination in the relevant subject.*
  OR
• A Second Class (Lower Division) in a Special Degree Examination in the relevant subject.*
  OR
• A pass in the BA/ BSc Special Degree Examination in the relevant subject.*
  OR
• A pass in the BA/ BSc General Degree Examination with a recognized Postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject.*

* Preference will be given to those who have specialized in Computer Science/ Information Communication Technology / Information Technology / Information Systems / Software Engineering / Computer Engineering

** If suitable candidates for the post of Scientific Assistant Gr.I are available the post of Scientific Assistant Gr.II may not be considered
