Walk – in – Interview

Walk – in – Interview for the posts of Temporary Assistant Lecturer in Siddha Medicine will be held on 18.11.2025 at 01.00 pm in the Board Room of the Faculty of Siddha Medicine, University of Jaffna, Kaithady. This interview will conduct to recruit one Temporary Assistant Lecturer for Department of Moolathathuvam and one Temporary Assistant Lecturer for Department of Manitha Uyiriyal.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• A BSMS Degree with First Class or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours;
  OR
• A BSMS Degree with Second Class (Lower Division) Honours;
  OR
• A BSMS Degree with Normal pass

AND

A recognized relevant postgraduate degree in Siddha Medicine.

Note: – Candidates who have successfully completed one-year internship and obtained membership in the Ayurvedic Medical Council, Department of Ayurveda are eligible to apply for the post of Temporary Assistant Lecturer.

SALARY AND OTHER BENEFITS:

• Temporary Assistant Lecturer – A fixed monthly salary of Rs.85, 305/- subject to a deduction of Rs.17, 812/- as an unpaid amount, in accordance with Commission Circular No.02/2025(i) dated 04.04.2025.

In addition to the above salary, the allowances approved by University Grants Commission applicable to the post will also be paid.

Interested candidates with the required qualifications are expected to be present for the walk-in interview for the above mentioned post with their curriculum vitae, educational and any other relevant certificates (originals) along with certified copies and National Identity Card.
