WALK – IN – INTERVIEW

  • Post of Research Fellow for Information Technology – 01 Vacancy
  • Programme Manager – 01 Vacancy,

  • Coordinator for Data Collection and Data Quality -01 Vacancy (Full Time, on Contract Basis)

University of Jaffna established a medical research on Global Health Research on Atrial Fibrillation Management Project in partnership with University of Birmingham, UK Funded by National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), UK.

Required qualifications and experience:

Research Fellow (Information Technology)

  • Requirements:
    A bachelor degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / relevant field from UGC approved University / HEI or equal qualification.
  • At least 1-year experience in Information Technology based research field within a multidisciplinary team.

Remuneration: A monthly salary of LKR 60,000.00  ( inclusive of CLA and you will be contribute 8% of your salary towards the Employee’s Provident Fund and the employer will contribute 12% of your salary towards Employees’ Provident Fund and 3% towards Employees Trust Fund.)

Programme Manager:

Requirements:

  • A bachelor degree in management /commerce/ business administration/ or other equal qualification
  • Proven experience in programme management, ability on stakeholder management skills, experience in managing a team, excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, competence in Microsoft applications including MS word, Excel, etc.) , and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet demands of a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Remuneration: A monthly salary of LKR 50,000.00 (inclusive of CLA and you will be contribute 8% of your salary towards the Employee’s Provident Fund and the employer will contribute 12% of your salary towards Employees’ Provident Fund and 3% towards Employees Trust Fund.)

Coordinator -Logistics & Finance:

  • Requirements:
    A bachelor degree from UGC approved University / HEI or other equal qualification or other equal qualification
  • Proven working experience minimum one-year experience in financial and logistics management, deep understanding of financial principles and practice, Proficient in standard logistics software

Remuneration: A monthly salary of LKR 45,000.00 (inclusive of CLA and you will be contribute 8% of your salary towards the Employee’s Provident Fund and the employer will contribute 12% of your salary towards Employees’ Provident Fund and 3% towards Employees Trust Fund.)

Coordinator – Data Collection & Data quality:

  • Requirements:
    A bachelor degree from UGC approved University / HEI or other equal qualification
  • Proven working experience as a data analyst and strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy, Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets.

Remuneration: A monthly salary of LKR 45,000.00 ( inclusive of CLA and you will be contribute 8% of your salary towards the Employee’s Provident Fund and the employer will contribute 12% of your salary towards Employees’ Provident Fund and 3% towards Employees Trust Fund.)

General Conditions:

  • Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka
  • Age should be below 35 years on the date of closing application

Professional competencies required:

  • High level of proficiency in written and spoken English and Tamil
  • High level of IT literacy, especially in the areas of Electronic mailing, Word and Excel for office environment, and project management platforms.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Tamil and in English with officials and different stakeholders including local suppliers
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment inspiring trust and cooperation of other team members.
  • Ability to achieve the targets in time align plan.

Walk in Interview for the above positions – On Contract Basis will be held on 14.02.2020 from 2.30 PM to 3.30PM, at the Board Room, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna.
