Commencement of Duties for the Year 2023

University of Jaffna ceremonially commenced duties in the New Year on 2^nd of January 2023, with a special function at the University premises. The ceremony was attended by the Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor S. Kannathasan, Registrar, Bursar, Deans, Directors, and Administrative officers of the university. The function commenced with the hoisting of the National and University flags by the Acting Vice Chancellor and Registrar, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. This was followed by the reading of the public servants’ oath by the Registrar.
