World Tourism Day 2023

University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka celebrated the WTD – 2023 under the theme “Tourism and Green Investment” in association with the Tourism Bureau – Northern Province. The main objective of celebrating WTD -2023 is to indoctrinate the importance of green investment on tourism worldwide and to show the general public how sustainable tourism affects not only the economic values of a country or region but also it affects the social, environmental, and cultural values of the country or region. The celebration of World Tourism Day held on 8.30am on September 27, 2023 at Kailaspathy Auditorium.
