VACANCY

The University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka will entertain applications from suitably qualified persons for the following post:

  • Post of Assistant Bursar: [on temporary basis]

Qualifications:

  • Pass the final II examination of the Institute of Charted Accountants of Sri Lanka or its equivalent

OR

  • I. Should possess a Bachelor’s Degree specialized in Accounting from a recognized University/HEI
    OR
    II. Should possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/HEI with a pass in the Intermediate level examination of the Institute of Charted Accountants of Sri Lanka or its equivalent
    OR
    III. Should possess Higher National Diploma in Accountancy [HNDA] from Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education [SLIATE] or its predecessor
    AND
    Two (02) years of experience in Accounting/Auditing in a Government/ State corporation or reputed private sector organization.

Duration of the Post

  • The post is temporary for a period of minimum 6 months.

Salary Scale

  • Initial salary Point of Rs.50,625.00 (fixed) monthly within the UGC salary structure for the post.
