Walk-in-interview

Walk-in- interview for the appointments to the following posts will be held on 14.01.2020 (Tuesday) at 09.00 a.m. in the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Science, University of Jaffna.

  • Temporary Assistant Lecturer in Zoology
  • Temporary Demonstrator in Chemistry / Zoology
  • Temporary Research Assistant in Chemistry / Zoology
  • Temporary Instructor in Computer Science / Computing / Mathematics

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  1. A Degree with specialization in the relevant subject with First Class or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours;

OR

  1. A Degree with specialization in the relevant subject with Second Class (Lower Division) Honors;

OR

  1. (a) A Degree with specialization in the relevant subject without Honoursor any other degree with at least Second Class Honours, and (b) a recognized postgraduate degree in the relevant subject

Note:

Candidates who are awaiting the results of the final degree examinations may also apply for the post of Temporary Demonstrator/ Temporary Instructor.

SALARY AND OTHER BENEFITS

In addition to the above salary, the allowances approved by University Grants Commission applicable to the posts will also be paid.
