 Walk in Interview for the appointment to the Post of Temporary Assistant Lecturer/Temporary Instructor will be held on 16th June 2022 in the Mini Board Room of the Faculty of Arts, University of Jaffna, in the following manner.

  • Temporary Assistant Lecturer in Art & Design (Painting, Sculpture)                                 9.30 am
  • Temporary Instructor in Art & Design   (Painting, Sculpture)                                              9.30 am
  • Temporary Assistant Lecturer   in Music (Veena ,Vocal ,Miruthangam)                             10.45 am

Minimum requirements/Qualifications for the Post of Temporary Assistant Lecturer/Temporary Instructor

  •  A degree with specialization in the relevant subject with First or Second class (upper division) Honors.
    OR
  • A degree with specialization in the relevant subject with Second Class (Lower division) Honors.
    OR
  • (a) A degree with specialization in the relevant subject without Honors or any other degree with at least Second Class Honors
    and
  • (b) A recognized postgraduate degree in the relevant subject.

Candidates who are awaiting results for the final degree examination may also be present.

Post Salary Scale
Temporary Assistant Lecturer Rs. 49,860/- p.m (fixed)
Temporary Instructor Rs. 40,920/- p.m (fixed)
