WALK -IN – INTERVIEW

Walk in interview for appointments to the following posts will be held on 08.06.2023 at 09.30 a.m at the Board Room of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna.

  • Temporary Lecturer / Temporary Demonstrator in Tourism and Hospitality Management

Minimum Requirements/ Qualifications

  • A Degree with Specialization in Tourism Management/ Hospitality/ Event Management with First or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours;

OR

  • A Degree with Specialization in Tourism Management/ Hospitality/ Event Management with Second Class (Lower Division) Honours;

OR

  • A Degree with Specialization in Marketing /Commerce with First or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours;

OR

  • (a) A Degree with Specialization in the relevant subject without Honours or  any other degree with at least second class Honours and

(b) A recognized postgraduate degree in the relevant subject.

POST SALARY SCALE
Temporary  Lecturer

Temporary Demonstrator

 Rs.49,860/p.m. (Fixed)

Rs.40,920/p.m. (Fixed)

In addition to the salary, the allowances approved by the University Grants Commission applicable to the posts will also be paid.

Interested candidates with the required qualifications are expected to be present for the interview at time with relevant certificates (original) along with certified copies, National Identity Card, Curriculum Vitae and self-prepared application.
