Postgraduate Scholarship

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for Postgraduate scholarships to work mainly at the Western University of Applied Sciences and University of Bergen under the general theme of ‘Nanomaterials for Clean Energy Applications’ for two years.

Selected candidates should register and work full time for a Master degree with a research component at Western University of Applied Sciences, doing Modelling/Simulation/Experimental studies on Nanomaterial for Clean Energy, preparing progress reports and research publications and assisting the research supervisors in all activities related to the project. The selected candidates have a chance to pursue PhD degree after successful completion of the two-year Master degree.

Required Qualifications and experience:

  • BSc Honours degree in Physics / Chemistry / Engineering with minimum GPA 3.0.
  • BSc General Degree with Physics / Chemistry as a subject and MSc degree in Physics / Chemistry / Materials Science.

Preference will be given to those who have experience in working with nanomaterials.

Age: Below 35 years of age by the closing date of the application.

The period of appointment would be 24 months. On the satisfactory performance of the candidates, the period may be extended.
