Pre-qualifications of bidder for Design & Print of Poster on Solid Waste Management

The Vice Chancellor, on behalf of the Department Procurement Committee now invites companies/ firm/ professional for pre-qualification for Design and Print of posters for faculty of Engineering, University of Jaffna.

The purpose of this project is to design and print of posters in the context of Solid Waste Management Practices and a postgraduate programme which is going to be introduce very soon. The posters are to be designed on different themes relating to solid waste management practices, research and development on the same. This project is financed under ERASMUS-Plus Solid waste Management Project.

Scope of the work – The interested parties may express their interest in the following scope of the work (Design & printing of posters).

Type 1: For School Children (High School)

  • Poster 1A: Waste generation
  • Poster 1B: Solid Waste Management
  • Poster 1C: Contribution of a School Child

Type 2: For University Students

  • Poster 2A: Waste generation and management
  • Poster 2B: Waste Management in University Premises
  • Poster 2C: Research and Development in Waste Management
  • Poster 2D: Concept of Circular Economy and Six Sigma Principles

Type 3: For Industrial Practitioners

  • Poster 3A: Waste generation and management
  • Poster 3B: Waste Management in Institutional Premises
  • Poster 3C: Concept of Circular Economy and Six Sigma Principles
  • Poster 3D: Career Development and Continuous Development

The interested companies/ Firms having relevant experience should submit their EOI’s in duplicate along with the following information in English stating the background of their organization and details of professional experts to be assigned for the service required.

  • Certificate of registration of the firm as legal entity (If any).
  • Registration of the firm with the relevant professional body (If any).
  • Documents to substance the forming of joint Venture/ association (If any).
  • VAT registration certificate (If any).
  • Audited statements of accounts and annual turnover for the last three years (If any).
  • List of similar design and printing works with contract amounts during last 5 years.
  • A certificate/ Affidavit that the firm has not been blacklisted or debarred by any government/ semi-government/ Autonomous/ International body.

Request for proposals (RFP) will only be issued to the shortlisted firms.

University of Jaffna will not reimburse any cost or expenses incurred in connection with preparation or delivery of EOI or visits to any office or site.
