Walk-in-Interview

Walk-in-interview for the following temporary positions will be held on 03rdof May, 2024 at 8.30 am in the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Science, University of Jaffna.

  •  Post of Scientific Assistant Grade II (Temporary)

Qualifications:

  • A First or Second Class (Upper Division) in a Special Degree Examination in the relevant subject.
    or
  • A Second Class (Lower Division) in a Special Degree Examination in the relevant subject.
    or
  • A pass in the BA/ BSc Special Degree Examination in the relevant subject.
    or
  • A pass in the BA/ BSc General Degree Examination with a recognized Postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject.

* Preference will be given to those who have specialized in Computer Science/ Information Communication Technology / Information Technology / Information Systems / Software Engineering / Computer Engineering

Expected Additional Attributes, Skills and Experience:

  • Professional experience as a full stack developer in a reputed organization.
  • Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies.
  • Experience using modern frameworks, libraries, tools, and language features, along with an understanding of their tradeoffs.
  • Experience in integration patterns.
  • Proven experience in designing & building RESTful web services & Microservices.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning, CI/CD and monitoring tools.
  • Good knowledge of Identity Management and SSO.
  • Ability of scientific writing skills.

Remuneration

Post Salary
Scientific Assistant Grade II (Temporary) Rs.48,385/- (fixed) p.m.

In addition to the above salary, statutory benefits and the UGC approved allowances will be paid
